Laurie was born October 22, 1959 to Joan and the late Kenneth Braasch.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jason Haltom; husband, Joseph Ford; siblings, Kenneth (Donna) Braasch, Lisa (nee Braasch) Lynch, and Michael Braasch; nieces and nephews, Kelly Braasch, Ken Braasch, Anthony Lynch, Matthew Lynch, Kennedy Braasch and Bailey Braasch; great nephew, Reese; great niece, Elena; step-children, Joseph, Heather, Debbie, and Pam.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl and Julia Korbitz, and Carl and Lorretta Braasch.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 12:00-6:00 pm with a memorial service to be conducted at 2:00 pm at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home (11333 South Central Ave.; Oak Lawn, Illinois 60453), with Pastor Don Borling officiating.
