Ed is the loving husband of Beverly (nee Christ) Muscarella; beloved father to Michelle (Salvador) Francisco, Ronald Murray, Jr., Katie (David) Villalobos, Edward Muscarella, David Muscarella, John Muscarella, and Julie Muscarella; cherished grandfather to Nathan, Katelyn, Aliya, Alex, Maya, Kristen, Kaylah, Kendall, Edward, Darian; great grandfather to Harrison; treasured brother to Virginia (Maurice) VandenEykel and Steve Muscarella; uncle and faithful and loyal friend to many.
Ed honorably served in the United States Coast Guard. He retired from Madison Paper Company as a millwright for over 30 years of service. Faithful and active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Worth. Ed loved riding his motorcycle with his wife and traveling the entire United States, camping along the way. He also belonged to Gold Wing Motorcycle Group. Ed enjoyed sports of all kinds, especially softball, bowling, golfing, volleyball, and fishing. Ed had many talents such as woodworking, glass art, painting and gardening. Ed was a super handy man, jack of all trades. He could fix anything, including a broken heart.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 3:00-9:00 pm at Chapel Hill South Funeral Home (11333 S. Central Ave.; Oak Lawn, IL 60453). And again on Monday, March 9, 2020 from 10:00 am until the time of his funeral at 11:00 am at St. Mark Lutheran Church (11007 S. 76th Ave.; Worth, IL 60482). He will be laid to rest in Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery.
