David Bernier

David E. Bernier, age 65 of Chicago, IL passed away July 4, 2021. Dear husband to Carol of 33 years; Dad to Jenna (Christopher), David (April), Renee (Jeremy), and Kelly; Grandpa to Jonathan David, Olivia, Alexis, Ty, Noelle, Ella, and Denton; Brother to the late Alan, Michele (Joe), Garry (Marie), best friend Larry (Judy), Jeff (Jenny), Jeanine (Dan), and Rick (Allison); Godfather to Greg and Sarah; care-free and comical Uncle to many nieces and nephews; and devoted son of Richard and the late Joan.

Dave’s life was about freezing points in time with his cameras, hanging with his buddies at the brewery, camping trips, golfing, and his road trips to Indiana. Dave was a computer guru and always helped anyone that need it. Dave loved finding treasures and bargains at flea markets and thrift stores. He lives on through his family and the adventures they will take with him guiding them. A good friend to all, he will be missed.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 10th, 2021 from 8-11 am with a prayer service at 11 am at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 S. Central Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
