Aleda A. Johnson, age 87, passed away on November 24, 2022. Loving wife of the late Joseph P. Johnson; Beloved mother of Thomas (Lynn), James (Rose), Brian (Karen), Bruce (Tammy), William (Lisa), and Daniel (Tammy); Cherished grandmother of Jamie, Kevin, Adam, Eric, Aidan, Natalie, Robbie, Amanda (Imed), Joseph, Scott, Brianna, Daniel, Robert, Ryan (Ashley), and Kyle; Great-grandmother of Liliana, Brayden, Gavin, and Kylie; Dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Aleda was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ellen Peters, along with her sister, Eileen (Edwin) Lata. Visitation for Aleda will be from 3-8 PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W 103rd, Oak Lawn, on Tuesday, November 29. Funeral to begin at 9 AM on Wednesday, November 30, at Blake-Lamb, proceeding to St. Bede the Venerable Church, 8200 S Kostner, Chicago, for a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial.
