Pauline was born to the late Paul and Selina Alberti on December 24,1913 on Laurel Grove Avenue in Kentfield, CA. Pauline spent over 60 years of her life at her home on Laurel Grove.
At age 13, Pauline drove her father back and forth to work. She graduated from Tamalpais High School. Pauline enjoyed playing the piano, taught piano lessons and worked as a bookkeeper. Pauline’s garden provided flowers for St. Sebastian’s Church where she was an active member. At age 70, she returned to work at Marin General Hospital.
Pauline traveled throughout the United States and Mexico with her late husband, John, in their Airstream trailer. While on a cruise, Pauline met her second husband, Aurelio “Butch” Briones, and enjoyed many cruise trips with him. In her later years, she would always say that she did everything she wanted to do in life and she was happy just sitting, talking with her family.
Pauline is survived by her son, Paul Patocchi and his wife Betty. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Elizabeth Patocchi Anderson, John, Paul, and Mary Patocchi and five great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Anderson, Brandon, Marissa, Nate and Andrew Patocchi.
She was a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother and inspired the people she met. She was one of the most loving, caring people we have ever had the pleasure to call family and she will be missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Marin Hospice by the Bay, 17 East Sir Francis Drake Blvd., Larkspur, CA 94939, or to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society of Our Lady of Loretto Church in Novato.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 03 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Loretto Church, 1806 Novato Blvd., Novato, CA 94947.
