Paul A. Thomson

Paul A. Thomson Our adored husband, loving father and son, and avid Giants fan passed away suddenly April 28, 2010 from cancer at the age of 60. Born on April 13, 1950 Paul was a lifelong resident of Marin. He lived in Sausalito until 1970 when he met and married his wife Diane. In 1977 they moved to Novato where they raised two wonderful children - Dr. Katherine Thomson and Sean Thomson. He received his B.S. in Math from Sonoma State University in 1975 and soon began working in the Pension industry. In 1989 he joined Jordan & Assoc. in Santa Rosa and was made partner in 1991. Paul's idea of the perfect day was to catch a Giants game with his family then man the grill for a barbecue. He will always be remembered for his wonderful smile, quirky sense of humor, limitless love for his family and friends and openness with strangers. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Diane, daughter Kate, son Sean, mother Martha, sister Martha Ann Milliken, and brothers Carl and Jim Thomson and will be sorely missed by his sister-in-law Sharlene Hassler and many others. A gathering will be held on Tuesday May 4 from 4:00-7:00 pm. at Keaton's Redwood Chapel of Marin, Novato.
