Karen Archibald Davis, a resident of Novato passed away following a long illness. She is survived by her daughter Christine (Jerry), son Thomas (Vicki), grandchildren Lauren, Matthew and Jacqueline; sister Robbin; cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Karen was born in Oakland, CA to Jasper and Bernice Archibald. She was raised in Danville, CA, graduating from San Ramon High School in 1962. She was actively involved in high school activities such as Pom-Pom Girl and Homecoming Queen. In 1966, Karen graduated from the University of the Pacific earning a BA degree in French and it was here that she met her future husband Paul. She was also a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. After graduation, Karen worked for United Airlines as a flight attendant. She and Paul married in 1968. After living and working overseas they returned to CA settling in Novato in 1975. She has been an active member of the Marin County Chapter of Delta Gamma Alumnae. Cooking, sewing, and traveling with Paul were many of her favorite activities. Karen was a devoted mother, loving wife who enjoyed family and friends. A service is to be held at Our Lady of Loretto in Novato, April 14, at 11am.
