Justine Millie and Aidan please accept my condolences .I was beyond shocked when I heard the sad news about Jim.As many of the other comments have stated Jim was one of the kindest and genuine people that you could ever meet.I have known Jim for almost 25 years  initially through his work.Some of the projects that he undertook were incredible and the quality was always first class.Over the past few years Jim  was very generous to many young Irish exchange students who visited the Bay Area for the summer months to play GAA .Jim would take them under his wing and without any fuss he made sure that they had a great summer.Many of those young people still kept in touch with Jim  after they left.

I will miss you Jim.

How to sum up Uncle Jimmy in a text box? Absolutely impossible. Jim gave purpose to so many of us, and showed everyone how to make the most of the time we have on this earth. He encouraged us to keep trying, to keep going, and to have a lot of laughs along the way. Anytime Uncle Jimmy was in the room, life just felt easier. His infectious laugh will always make me smile! I miss him terribly but I know he's still with us. One man served as such a light to so many - Just look at these tributes!

Justine, Millie, and Aidan we are so sorry for your loss.  I should say for “our” loss.  Jimmy was a light to all rooms he entered.  The epitome of a character.  I knew Jimmy for his fast paced basketball game.  His legs moved as fast as his lips, Draymond couldn’t hold a candle to Jimmy on the court.  Our last time together was a memorable time at his/Tine’s niece’s wedding.  We huddled in a hotel room like a bunch of high school kids reveling of tales past.  You already are missed.  Prayers Up!

Jimmy was my friend and thought me so much growing up. He was probably the funniest most full of life person I ever knew. I am saddened to hear about his passing and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I am so blessed to have you as my Brother and my best friend, each time I think of you  tears fall from my face and I would give anything for one more phone call to hear your voice one more time. You are light, laughter, shenanigans, and the very best example of a human that we have had the honor of knowing. To know you is to know your beautiful family! You have fierce love for your Tine, and you absolutely adore your babies, Millie and Aidan! Your family and friends are everything to you and I hope you know you are everything to us! You have always been quick witted with thoughts, observations and jokes and those in your company surely exercised their ability to laugh their arses off! You are the most generous soul with your time, your attention, your talent, and your proper table etiquette to never let a glass go half empty. When situations became a little much, your stand in it all was, “It will all work out in 100 years.” You are absolutely right. 100 years from now, you will be in the fore front of our conscience recalling time spent together, reminiscing of the tales of the shenanigans and screeches of laughter by all surrounding you. I was shocked to hear about my good friend Jimmy. We started a basketball Club together in Cork in the nineties. We had some great days and I remember calling to his house and his late father Micky Mac making out breakfast before bringing us the the House of Rejects Bar in Blarney St for a cure after a good night out.

Shocked and saddened to hear this news . Sincere condolences to Jimmys family on his untimely passing.  My grandparents (Micky & Kathy Jones 23 Barents tce ) were friends and neighbours with the McMullens family  and all us kids hung around together when we visited every weekend . I just found out. I am so sorry. I am not sure who is monitoring this  but please bear with me. This message is a goodbye to a friend who I have respected for many years. Who showed me how to read a tape properly and use a laser, to care about the process and the finished product. To be proud of what you do, and don’t let anyone change your moral compass. Jim taught me how to be a real man, and what mattered most about family, and friendship, and a bit about how not to let the different faiths of the world muddy up what could otherwise be great relationships. Rest well my friend. If there is anyone who deserves to finally be at peace any more than you do, I do not know him yet. Thank you for being a part of my life Jim. You will always be. In who I am as a person, your legacy will live on in how I am to others. Goodbye. Sleep well. You used to tell me that it wouldn’t matter in a hundred years. I am going to make sure that your legacy does.
