Theresa Koenig

On November 25, 2017, Theresa Koenig (nee Pupek) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late John Koenig Jr.; devoted mother of John Koenig III and his wife Dee, Kathy Koenig, Pat Palmere and her husband John, Mark Koenig, Lisa Uddeme and Sam, Toni Koenig, and the late Kim Holmes; loving grandmother of John Koenig IV and his wife Kelly, Brad Koenig and his wife Cindy, Marco Palmere, Nicholas Palmere, Tina Mikula and her husband Eddie, Leah Uddeme, Becky Fraser, Adam Koenig, and Kristen, Amanda, and Ryan Holmes; cherished great-grandmother of Luke, Lucy, and John Koenig V, Destiny, Maia, and Kayla Holmes, and Trey Mikula; dear sister of Casimir Pupek and his late wife Ruth, Melvin Pupek, Joan Fansler and her late husband Dennis, the late Alec Pupek and his wife Anna, Steve Pupek and his wife Mary, Pauline Abraham and her husband Russell, Dorothy DeRemigis and her husband Al, Walter Pupek and Tony Pupek; beloved sister-in-law of Pat Pupek.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 2-8PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10AM at the funeral home. Interment services will follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Theresa’s name to the Weinberg Center for Women’s Health and Medicine 227 St. Paul Place, Baltimore, MD 21202.
