We have all been touched by your love and support for Tasha and her family.

To continue to honor Tasha's life and memory, the Curtin family, Tasha's mother's family, has established the Tasha Scott Gibson Memorial Fund at Drexel University where Tasha studied and earned her first two college degrees. This fund will help support a group working on eating disorders led by Michael Lowe.  We embrace this chance to support a research program determined to improve understanding, diagnosis and therapies of eating disorders. Dr. Lowe's group is small and the gift will make a real difference to him and his doctoral students.

Tasha's extended family and friends are invited to contribute in her memory at any time and in any amount. Checks can be written to Drexel University and sent to Drexel University, PO Box 8215, Philadelphia, PA 19104. A note should accompany the check indicating the gift is for the Tasha Scott Gibson Memorial Fund or the Fund can be named in the memo line of the check. I attended school with Tasha and have found memories of birthday parties at each other's homes when in elementary school.  I still have the pictures which I will cherish.  I reconnected with Tasha on face book and we had plans of getting together but did not end up seeing each other.  I am so sorry for your loss.  Continued prayers for her family and friends.  What a lovely tribute to Tasha in this photo gallery.  She was beautiful and accomplished so much.  Rest in Peace Tasha.  Taken much too soon.

My heart is very heavy today learning of Tasha's passing.  We crossed paths in pre-K because of our children...and I am so honored to have had the opportunity to spend time with Tasha.  Tasha was so beautiful on the outside, but more beautiful on the inside...she was the salt of the earth.  Her spirit shined through in everything she did for her children, her family, her friends and her life.  I admired her fashion sense - she always looked amazing with all her glitter and bling.  Mostly, her heart and spirit reflected in the awesome mother she was to Kade and Shane...she loved her boys beyond words.  We took our kids bowling, for yogurt, to the park and they came for a play date or 2 at our home...I wish we could have done more together.  I wish I could have done more.  She was EXTREMELY thoughtful, generous and giving...I wish there were more people like Tasha that had her depth and care for others.  My heart hurts for Kent, Kade and Shane...and especially for Tasha, as I know she would want to be here with her family for much longer than she was...especially her boys. As a mother, her loss has deeply affected me knowing what kind of mother she was.  My thoughts and prayers are with you Kent - Kade and Shane.  Tasha will forever be your guardian angel...complete with feathers...she will be your glitter in the air.  I'm here if I can help in any way.  God bless you all.

Tasha was like a little sister I never had. She would come to me for guidance and we would hug, cry and laugh together. Tasha had a flair for clothes. The last time I saw her she had on a white Santa hat complete with sparkles from head to toe. Kade and Shane had such a wonderful mother.I know you will watch over them in Heaven. Farewell Love Letter to My Wife Tasha
Wow! What a journey! What a woman! My beautiful wife Tasha was the smartest, kindest, and most generous person I ever met. When I first met her I knew I was going to marry her.  She had a million dollar smile that would light up a room. She was stunning!. I always told her she was a movie star who had not been discovered yet.  Not only did she have 2 Masters in Education but she was Baltimore County Teacher of the Year teaching Spanish in 2001. Wow what a beautiful Irish girl who spoke fluent Spanish. How cool is that?  I forgot to mention our first date she took me to play cool.  Icing on the cake!
  After we got married her most crowning achievement in her life was having our two gorgeous sons Kade and Shane. She loved her boys. Her boys made her so proud!  We made a family together.  She was so organized.  Tasha loved being a stay at home mother. 
I love you Tasha. Kade and Shane love you. There will only be one Tasha and mommy for us. You were something else!

Hi! I'm Kenny Gibson, Tasha's dad in law, Kent's dad, and Kade and Shane's grand dad.
 Oh My! This is a big one.  Way way too soon! My heart is broken.  I will miss you Tasha! I will miss watching you grow as a woman, mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, sister, in law and daughter in law.  
  Tasha thank you for all the love you gave our family. Thanks for being a great mom. Thanks for being a Super fan of the PIttsburgh Pirates. Game day was fun in the Gibson home, for Kent, Kade, Shane and Bunk. 
  Everyone will have new challenges as we face our future without you Tasha. Please God give us the strength to be the best we can be.  Help me to be the best dad and grand dad I can be. Spread your love to all of Tasha's and Kent's family. 
  Thank all of you for being here today. May God bless our broken hearts with the touch of angel wings.

 I am Tasha's mother in law.  I read this at the service;
Everyone that knew Tasha experienced what a Super Mom she was with Kade and Shane: the pictures, albums, work stations, theme parties, the continual "I love you's," the kisses and on and on.
  I want to speak to what a wonderful daughter in law she was to me. She always greeted me with a great big Tasha hug. Every phone call ended with "I love you." Pictures were continually sent of the family goings on, plus the latest drawings from Kade and Shane complete with their latest achievements at school. Best, of all were the heartfelt thank you notes that would follow a visit to Oxford, 
  Tasha was so organized that one time Kent and the boys came to Oxford without Tasha and everything in the boys' suitcase was bagged and marked as to what clothes were for who and what was what. I could go on and on but Tasha was born to be a mom and she has left the boys wonderful memories of her love for them. 
  Tasha we thank God you are healthy in heaven and can continue to spread your wonderful spirit to all the angels. We miss you forever, Love, Wendy

Tasha was the mother of all mothers.  She kept meticulous photo albums of the boys complete with diary entries of the progress the boys were making. She kept them in all the fun activities she could get them to and was constantly telling them how much she loved them. They will have many memories to reflect on in all the pictures she left behind. My daughters went to preschool with Kade and Shane. Tasha always had a beautifully arranged project or hand written note for holidays and parties. I went to Unionville High School with Tasha. While we hung out in different circles, I always remember her beauty and infectious smile. She also had the most beautiful hair out of anyone who attended UHS! Sending condolences out to her husband and sons. There is another angel in heaven.

So very,very sorry for your loss!  I have such fond memories of Tasha when I taught and coached her in Middle School.  She had such spark and life.  I can't imagine how difficult this is for all of you.
