On November 9, 2017 Robert Charles "Bob" Novak passed away. He was the beloved husband of Deborah L. Novak (nee Hogan); devoted father of Scott R. Novak and his wife Paige, and Sarah A. Young and her husband Christopher; cherished grandfather of Ava Elizabeth Young; dear brother of Gary R. Novak, and Martin K. Novak. Robert Novak dedicated over 45 years to public service, retiring as a Colonel in 2001 in the Baltimore City Police Department and continuing as a Captain in Towson University Police Department until present.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
