On December 21, 2022, Robert E. Hughes passed away. He was the beloved husband of Charlotte H. Hughes, and predeceased by Margie L. Hughes; devoted father of Debbie Delahanty, husband Gene, Steve Hughes, wife Barbara, Scott Hughes, wife Beverly, and Lisa Walstrum, husband Jay; loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren; dear brother of Nancy Jean Marley, and the late John Hughes; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 11:00 to 12:00 PM. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment at the Parkwood Cemetery.
