Gerald Joseph Maher

On February 9, 2014, Gerald Joseph Maher of Red Lion, Pennsylvania (formerly of Baltimore, MD), passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Olivia Lee Maher (nee Davis); devoted father of Patrick (Rick) Maher and his wife Wendy, Elizabeth (Beth) DaCosta and her husband Joe, Kathleen (Kathy) Maher-Baker and her husband Neal and Karen Kuta and her husband Greg; loving grandfather of Tyler and Kaitlyn Maher; Justin, Jason and Jordan DaCosta; Olivia and Andrew Baker; Eric Mach, Rosalee and Mitchell Kuta; and Katherine and Alexandra Cox, as well as the late Paul, Grace, Ann and Julia Baker.

Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236, on Monday from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (Hydes, MD). Interment St. John the Evangelist Cemetery.
