On April 10, 2015, Ashton Venable Fletcher, Jr.; beloved husband of Caryl Angela Fletcher; devoted father of Ashton Venable Fletcher,III, David Clayton Fletcher and his wife Amy, and Robert Dorman Fletcher and his wife Fai; cherished grandfather of Tristen Lingelbach; dear brother of James Fletcher and his wife Carol, Robert Fletcher and his wife Juanita, Richard Fletcher and his wife JoAnn, David Fletcher and his wife Kathryn, Angela Dencler and her husband Mark, Jeannie Perrie and her husband Michael, brother-in-law of Scott Nelsen and his wife Carol, and Barbara Nelsen. He is also survived by his godson and nephew Michael Perrie, Jr., nephews Greg, Mark, Davey, Cameron, Titan, Philip, nieces Heather, Jean, Jean Ashley, Katie, and Alycia, aunt and uncle Joseph and Jean Allegro, and numerous cousins, including Angela and Joseph Sessa. He is preceded in death by his brother Joseph Michael Fletcher, and his parents Jean Nancy Fletcher and Ashton Venable Fletcher,Sr.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Road, Nottingham, on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at 11 am at St. Ritas Catholic Church. Interment Oaklawn Cemetery.
