Sarah B Shaughnessy

Sarah was born in Galway, Ireland in 1938, the daughter of Maura ( McDonagh) Faherty and Coleman Faherty. She was forever a Galway Girl.

Sarah was the beloved wife of the late William Shaughnessy, loving mother of William and his wife Catherine of HI, Linda Shaughnessy Rios and her partner Thomas Collins of Norfolk, Joseph and his wife Rosemary of Sturbridge and Christine McVinney and her husband Stephen of Norwood.

Cherished grandmother of Laurie and her husband Kyle, Joseph and his wife Devin, Meghan and her husband Kevin, Rachel and her husband Timothy, Natalie and her husband Edward, Michael and John.

Proud great grandmother of Sydney, McKinley, Caroline, Ellie, Isla and Jack and Nanny Sally to many others. She leaves behind many wonderful family and friends who she loved dearly.

Visitation will be held prior to Mass from 9:30-10:30 AM at Gillooly Funeral Home 126 Walpole St Norwood. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Funeral service on Thursday January 13, 2022 St. Timothy Church Norwood at 11AM. Burial at St Joseph Cemetery West Roxbury, Ma will be private.
