Nancy J. Fleming

Born 1933 in Dedham, MA, she was the beloved wife of nearly 50 years to the late Edward Fleming. She is survived by her two sons, Edward W. Fleming and his wife Pamela of Boxborough, MA and John A. Fleming and his wife Stephanie of Norwood, MA. She was the cherished grandmother of Emma, Jakob, Luke, Zoey, and Belle Fleming of Norwood and Samuel, Matthew, and Ryan Fleming of Boxborough. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.

Nancy and Ed met at Jordan Marsh and began a life that intermingled love of friends and family. Nancy never forgot a birthday or failed to bring a competitive spirit to every card game. She was a friend who could always be counted on to share a cup of tea and lend a sympathetic ear. Nancy worked for many years preparing taxes and found fulfillment of her passions through decades of vestry work for her church.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Grace Episcopal Church, 150 Chapel St., Norwood, on Monday, November 5th at 11:00 AM. At the request of the family, Nancy’s committal service will be private.
