She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Mark (Chisholm); and their two children, Amber and Sean Chisholm of Norwood. She is also survived by her two brothers, David Colleary and his wife Maureen of West Hartford, CT, and Thomas Colleary Jr. and his wife Wendy of Glastonbury, CT.
Graduating from Norwood High School in 1985, Lauren then went on to obtain an Associate’s Degree from Quincy College. Lauren was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010. After an impressive battle, she came out strong and went into remission for over 9 years. Though Lauren was not able to work full-time due to persistent complications, she was an active member of her community and dedicated herself in any way she was able. From Girl Scout Tribe Leader, to CCD instructor at St. Catherine’s Church, to MICCA Coordinator for the music program at Norwood High School, Lauren did it all. She loved helping people and was constantly immersed in her children’s lives.
Lauren was a ray of sunshine, lighting up every room she walked in to with her friendly demeanor and warm smile. Her laugh was contagious and she radiated positivity. She loved her family more than anything else and treasured every moment she was able to spend with them. The family would like to thank all of the staff at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute for their many years of loving, competent care.
