Judith B. Grenier

Daughter of the late Julio and Catherine (Blake) Xavier. Beloved wife of the late Donald W. Grenier. Loving mother of James Grenier and his wife Erica of Foxboro and Philip Grenier and his wife Kerry of Pembroke. Cherished grandmother of Tyler, Dylan, Brian and Laura. Dear sister of William Xavier and his late wife Nancy of Florida. Sister in Law of Robert Grenier of Westwood.

Judy was born in Providence, RI on March 22, 1941, and was a graduate of Needham High School. She married Donald Grenier August 31, 1963, and has been a longtime resident of Norwood where she worked for over thirty years at the cashier's office in Norwood Hospital until her retirement. She was also a communicant of St. Catherine’s Church.

She had a lifelong love and compassion for all animals and supported foundations for their welfare. Judy loved flowers and her garden was a source of joy for her, and was an avid reader, bocce player and bowler, participating in leagues over the years. She was a much loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and beloved friend who will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 9th from 9-11:30 AM in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street, Norwood followed by a funeral service at 11:30AM. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
