Eileen Frances Cavanaugh

Eileen Frances Cavanaugh, of Bradenton, FL, passed away suddenly on July 28, 2023. Born in Boston, MA on June 20, 1947 to Lawrence and Mary (Ronan) Cameron, she spent many years in Norwood, MA, Bridgton, ME, and Davenport, FL.

She was passionate about her family, especially her grandchildren, as well as creating a welcoming home and making wonderful memories with her husband and friends during their retirement years. Together, they enjoyed the Florida sunshine and had many exciting adventures around the globe.

In addition to her beloved parents, she is predeceased by her sisters Lorraine McCarthy and Joan Fox.

She is survived by her beloved husband Gerard Cavanaugh, her loving daughters Lauren Dayton and her husband Arthur of Westwood, MA and Alison Cavanaugh of Winchester, MA , and her cherished grandchildren Cameron, Alexander, Grace and Audrey. She is also survived by her sister Brenda Lynch and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD on Saturday August 5 from 8:30AM to 9:30AM prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington Street, Norwood at 10 AM.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Eileen’s memory to the Greater Boston Food Bank.
