Gloria Gail (GG) King Clemens Manley, 86, earned her wings on December 12, 2024. She was born on April 25, 1938, in Roseville, MI, the eighth and youngest child of Mae Hart and Carl Lawrence King. GG graduated from Roseville High School in 1956 and married Clement D. Clemens, Jr. on that same day. Together, they had seven children and their marriage ended in divorce after 17 ½ years. GG faced many rough times in life but always remained strong and was able to make the best of any situation. Her faith in God was strong and she attended CV Free Church in South Plymouth. She always had a warm hug and a big smile. She loved children, especially babies. GG worked as a receptionist at Chenango Memorial Hospital and at NBT Bank. She also spent decades as a sales representative for Avon. After her retirement, she babysat many area children.
GG was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Kenneth Manley, Sr.; her former husband, Clement Clemens, Jr.; her son, Clement Clemens, III; her daughter, Lisa Rifanburg; her daughter in law, Lori Button Clemens; her grandsons, Clement Clemens, IV, William Clemens, Jr., and Dillon Clemens; her granddaughter, Katrina Biviano; as well as her seven older siblings.
GG leaves behind her children, Laurie (Dennis) Will, William (Kathy) Clemens, Stevan (Terri) Clemens, Dale (Cat) Clemens, Julie (Bill) Goodrich, Sam Clemens, Ken (Janet) Manley, Susie (Lynn) Ross, and Mike Manley; her daughter in law, Betty Ann Clemens; 20 grandsons; 18 granddaughters; many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; along with her sister in law, Carol King.
GG’s family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Chase Memorial Nursing Home where she received loving and compassionate care for her final months.
