Steven "Biggs" James Devost Sr.

He was born in Middletown, CT on Oct 1, 1986 to Robert D.Devost Sr and Patricia Ann (Moore) Anderson.

Steven was a hardworking man who was a loving, devoted and dedicated son and father to his mom and his children. His family was always put first and included weekly Sunday dinners at his house. Christmas was his favorite time of year. He worked at Dairy Queen in Taftville for 10 years becoming a manager there. When not at work, he enjoyed watching his favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees play.

He is pre deceased by his father Robert D Devost Sr., his maternal grandmother Lorraine Moore and his step father William Anderson. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Anderson, his children; Steven Devost Jr, Hayden Devost and Alannah Devost, brothers, Robert David Devost Jr and Michael Paul Devost, sisters; Lorraine Ann Friend and Crystal Ann Devost, his girlfriend; Sheila Marie Bartlett, and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many more family and friends. His favorite saying was “YO SON”.

Calling hours will be held Friday Dec 22nd from 5pm to 8pm at Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Av.,. Norwich, CT. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 23rd at 10am at the First Congregational Church of Canterbury located at 6 South Canterbury Rd., with burial immediately following at Maplewood Cemetery in Norwich.

Donations in Biggs’ memory may be made to the Hartford Children’s Hospital.
