Stasia R. (Rodowicz) Synott, passed Sunday, June 23, 2024 at her home. She was born on March 5, 1934 in Lisbon, CT @ her family home “The Farm” the daughter of the late Joseph and Wladyslawa (Bartnicki) Rodowicz.
She attended Learned Grammar School and Lisbon Central School Class of 1948, and NFA Commercial Course Class of 1952.
She worked at Parke Davis & Company in Versailles, CT for 10 years in the office as a Payroll Clerk.
She was married to George J. Synott, Jr on October 6, 1956 at the Divine Providence Church in Norwich.
She enjoyed saltwater fishing, flower and vegetable gardening and fruit trees. She loved Polka Festivals and Polka dancing and she was a member of the Dick Pillar Fan club and attended many weekends at The Pines in New York.
She attended many sporting events watching her grandchildren play softball, baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer and rugby.
She is survived by her husband, George J. Synott, Jr, her sons and daughter in laws, Jason and Debbie Synott, James and Christine Synott, her granddaughter, Jessica (Matthew) Chalecki and her grandsons, Joshua Synott, Jonathan Synott and Jaxson Synott and a great-grandson, Camden Chalecki. Her special niece, Deborah Bernard.
She was pre-deceased by her brothers, Stefan J. Rodowicz, Frank Rodowicz and Stanley Rodowicz.
A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, June 26th from 10-11am followed by a funeral service at 11am at Church & Allen Funeral Home,
136 Sachem Street, Norwich, CT. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Norwich.
