 I worked with Kenny   At Pratt & Whitney from 1978 until he retired in 2001 .  He was not your average worker, Ken  excelled  in everything he did ,Especially when he started working on the Trump Laser machine.  He became the department Guru for the laser .  Being a self-taught computer wizard he learned the language of the computer and began learning how to write programs for it before anyone else could do it . In turn he taught  all the rest of us who were learning  the machine how to read and write programs proficiently.  He was a great teacher, very tough and sarcastic  at times but also very thorough and he had a great humour side .
   He was also integral in saving a complete program that our military engines depended on . The F 22 raptor and the F 35 both used these parts without them they never would have achieved the competitive edge that they had .   Designers were writing programs for us to make the parts On the Trump punch/laser machine  and they were not working correctly .   These parts consisted of hundreds of holes that when assembled had to line up perfectly together . Because of the nature of sheet metal, one part would stretch more than the other part causing the holes to misalign.  Kenny would individually move each hole a couple of thousandths in the programs,  so that the final product would be lined up perfectly ( which amounted to hours of editing because there were so many holes on these parts )
And because of the hours of work that it took for him to hand edit the programs,He worked out algorithms with the designers and programmers to automatically correct the problem in the programming.   This was all together an incredible task that saved the program and he did it just because he was a consummate perfectionist and wanted the parts perfect .
 What was an unknown Hero ,A perfectionist and a  compassionate friend, Whose  memory will remain  always with those of us who worked with him .  

Bruce and I have known Kenny for over 30 years.  In those years we remember the passion and dedication he demonstrated from coaching  little league to creating some of the most elegant cabinets and furniture we have ever seen.  Our home is graced with some of his finest work!  

Kenny always talked to us about his two sons Jason and Tim as well as his nephew Justin.   He was very proud of them and always hoped that one of the boys would love woodworking the way he did.
We will NEVER forget Kenny.  Our heartfelt sympathies to all of his family and loved ones

To the family, I am truly sorry for your loss.

I met Kenny 38 years ago when I was young girl.
I remember playing pool many nights with Kenny and his brother-in-law Scott in the basement of their home. Kenny was a good guy who from what I hear, fought a good fight against MS. May he rest in peace and may his family find the comfort and strength needed to get through this difficult time.

Ken you were a Big Part of My Life since we were kids 14 & 15 HighSchool Sweethearts! Then married five years later! We had two wonderful Son Jason  & Tim! We had our ups and downs  as time went on but Always remained close friends! I will miss you Ever So much!        Kenny, was a true friend to me,  He told me the truth of the matter good or bad.  I enjoyed caring for him.  As we both had and have the same disease. We were able to know how each other felt with out saying a word. Thank you, Kenny for making me apart of your family..  Love you more than I ever said.  I'll see you some day. Missing you..
