Kaine was born on November 9, 2002 at Backus Hospital to Natasha Mozden & Harrison Sherman (who preceded him in death). Kaine graduated Griswold High School in 2021 & was a 2022 graduate of Northwest Lineman Center in Daytona Fl. He was currently employed at the Jewett City Water Company.
To know Kaine was to love him. He was always ready to greet the people he loved with a hug and strangers with a firm handshake. Kaine was known as the Pied Piper – always finding time to play with the kids in his life making him a hero amongst the littles.
A born athlete – Kaine played baseball, hockey & lacrosse. He was a reliable teammate & coachable player who enjoyed being active.
Kaine was a loyal friend to many. We take comfort knowing he leaves a strong bond of love between his group of friends who will forever be our “kids”.
Kaine was a fierce lover of his family. He loved nothing more than being surrounded by them hanging out with the “olds”, sharing stories, telling jokes and just being present.
His taste in music could only be described as eclectic & his sense of adventure was limitless. (unless there was a spider)
We are truly devastated by this loss, but all take comfort knowing that he is leaving a legacy of joy & love.
Kaine leaves behind his parents Natasha & Christopher Mozden, his best friend in the entire world – his Poppy Billy Landrus and his Grandmother Dominique Locas. His aunts Tabitha Greczkowski & Lisa Sherman. He was fortunate enough to have Aunts & Uncles who loved him as their grandson and cousins who were his Uncles & Aunts – as well as a large group of his parents friends who loved him immeasurably. Words cannot express how missed our boy will be.
Calling hours will be held at Church & Allen Funeral Home in Norwich, Connecticut on Wednesday July 24th from 5-8.
Tell your friends you love them – make it weird. Check on them often – if you or anyone you love is in crisis, please reach out to the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by dialing 988.
