Lyme, CT - Josip Peperni, age 57, passed away on November 16, 2021 at Middlesex Hospital. He was born on September 30, 1964 in Bradina, Bosnia-Herzegovina to Kazimir and Reljka (Zovko) Peperni. He is survived by the wife he adored, Katie (Yuille) Peperni, whom he married on May 5, 2012 in a beautiful beach wedding in the Bahamas.
Josip enjoyed a fulfilling career as a police officer with the Norwich, CT Police Department. Through his hard work and dedication, he proudly attained the rank of Lieutenant.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children, Nikita Peperni of Lyme, CT, Dakota Peperni and his wife Stephanie of Salem, CT and Kayla Marie Yuille of Lyme, CT and granddaughter Mya Peperni. He was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his newest granddaughter expected in January. He also leaves behind his siblings Olivera Schmeelk and her husband Darrin of Thompson, CT and Karolina Kothman and her husband Guy of Portland, ME as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Jelena Nygren, and daughter-in-law, Rachel Peperni.
