James Mileski III

TAFTVILLE - James F. Mileski III, 62, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Nov 22, 2018 at New London Rehab & Healthcare in Waterford, CT., where he received wonderful care with the utmost compassion.

He was born in Norwich, CT to James and Bernice (Rankin) Mileski Jr. on

Dec.4,1955.

James worked in the construction industry and was a talented sheetrocker. He was a jack of all trades and in demand to build and repair things by many people who knew him and of his talents. He had a great sense of humor from the time he was a child providing all his friends with nicknames. He loved fishing and looked forward to the annual boy versus girl family fishing derby held in July. He was a member of the VFW Auxiliary at Post 10,060 in Montville, CT. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother; Bernice Mileski, a son; James Mileski IV of Port Charlotte, FL, daughter; Veronica Mileski of Troy, NY, brother; Michael (Joanne) Mileski, sisters; Robin Tine and Dianalin Bruce and her companion Jim Sowders, grandchild; Zachary Mileski, several nieces and nephews and his girlfriend Susan.

At James' request, there will be no immediate services.

Church & Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich, CT is assisting the Mileski family.
