Bozrah-Gail (Smith) Shea, born August 12, 1942 passed away peacefully at Backus Hospital on January 26, 2024 with family by her side.
Gail was a lifelong resident of Bozrah.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John Shea. Gail and John met in the 7th grade at Fields Memorial School. John cared for her at home during her final years as she suffered from Alzheimer’s.
Gail is also survived by her daughter Heather (Shea) Pishka and son-in law Shawn Pishka. She raised her daughter to be a Bozrah girl like her, knowing what it is to grow up in a small town surrounded by loving family and friends.
Gail’s great joy was being a Mimi to her grandson Joe Pishka. She even switched from being a Yankee fan to a Red Sox fan so they could root for the same team.
Gail also leaves behind her sister Judy (Smith) Blanch and brother Terry Smith.
