Kim devoted her life first to the Lord Jesus Christ and then to her husband of almost 47 years Jon R. Griffin. Her biggest joy was sharing her time with her family. Her daughters Amie (Glynn) Crook, and Sandra Griffin and her grandchildren Owen (Brittney) Jones and Kaileigh Jones were nurtured and supported by her willingness to give of herself. She loved her many nieces and nephews as her own children.
Kim was known for her sweet spirit and her kindness, and her ability to find all things lost. She was a prayer warrior and the glue to her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother Diane Griffin, brother Anthony Hebert, Kenneth Mallette, sisters, Edna Marie (Jerry) Jarrell, Deborah Hebert, and Monica (Buddy) Perkins.
She is survived by her sisters Susan Mallette, Hazel “Pepper” (Frank) Gill, Tammie (Michael) Tolliver, Gracie (Roger) Green, Tammi (Ricky) Smith and brother Nick Griffin, Parents Jon Griffin, Reba (Jack) Galvez.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth “Dewy” Lamb, Major Griffin, William “Rusty” Ward, Glynn Crook, Jr., Randy Butt, Pat Everett, Jr., James “Owen” Jones, Kelly Jolly.
Visitation will be at Northside Church of God on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 11am-12pm. Services will begin at 12pm and graveside services to follow at Spencer Hill Cemetery.
