Gladys lived a long and happy life always trying to see the good in everyone, always supporting and encouraging those around her. She loved cooking a big country meal and having family and friends over to enjoy it. She quilted beautiful silk top quilts and worked extensively in genealogy tracing the family tree. Once she met you, you immediately became family and would be lumped together with the rest of nieces, nephews and such. She greeted each day as if it were a miracle and liked nothing better than to sit on her porch in the rocking chair with a hot cup of coffee. She will be greatly missed yet we take comfort in the fact that she has gone home and is happy there.
In Lieu of Flowers the family requests a donation in her memory to Springhill Baptist Church.
