Carolyn Wilson

A visitation for Carolyn will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home, 3802 Watermelon Rd., Northport, AL., 35473 followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM.

Carolyn loved Jesus, spending time outside, and was passionate about her flowers. She loved her children, grandchildren, and her church family. Carolyn worked and retired from Bryce Hospital. She was a long-time member of Victorious Life Church.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her 3 children, Karen Patrick (Rusty), Stephen Wilson (Anne), and Elizabeth Edwards (John); sisters, Helen Strickland and Vickie Powell; brother, David Smith; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Lillie Smith; brothers, Billy, Autry and Orman Smith; son, Don Wilson and great grandson, Cameron Horton.

Pallbearers are Tracy Price, Jonathon Price, Wesley Wilson, Caleb Haywood, JB Edwards, Lee Jackson Edwards, Jared Wilson, and Blake Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are Dennis and Vickie Avery and Victorious Life Church.
