On Thursday, April 29, 2004, at the age of 81. Beloved husband to Marjorie of 54 years. Loving father to Janet and her husband Robert, David and his wife Linda, and Yvonne and her husband Stephen. Cherished grandfather to Christine, William, Michael, Neil, Alison, Karen and Douglas. Mr. Batch served his country during World War II in the early development of G.C.A. Radar. He was a dedicated Aeronautical Engineer at DeHavilland Aircraft for 36 years, and was also a Founding Member of the Canadian Aviation Historical Society. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2004 at 3 pm at Forest Grove United Church, (43 Forest Grove Drive, Toronto). Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
