It is with great sadness that her family announces the peaceful passing of Judi in December. Judi was predeceased by her parents Harry and Jean Glanville, and is survived by her son Tyler Manson (Claire), brothers Jim (Sue) Glanville, and John Glanville, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins and aunts in BC and the USA .
Judi was born and raised in New Westminster, where she attended New Westminster Secondary School before attending SFU. She married Ross Manson in 1971, and spent her early adult years in Victoria where Tyler was born. Judi and Tyler moved to Whistler in 1983 and spent many happy years there, including several fun years with Doug, before relocating to West Vancouver in the mid-1990s. Judi and Tyler also spent several happy weeks at Hornby Island every summer during their Whistler / West Van years and will be forever grateful to Jan and Keith for the introduction and opportunity to stay at Hornby in those years.
Judi was a generous, friendly, and kind soul blessed with many friends, and her family is forever thankful for their support and help in her later years during her struggle with dementia – with a special Thank You to Lynne and Moe, and to Susie Y-M, Susan C, and her cousins.
There will be a memorial gathering when possible, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Alzheimer Society of BC or to Capilano Long Term Care Centre
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.firstmemorialnorthvancouver.com for the Manson family.
