Eleanor Marguerite Johnson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Eleanor Marguerite Johnson, November 6, 1933 - December 16, 2023. Predeceased by her son Robert Michael (Mike) Johnson, her grandson Justin Brule and granddaughter Leah Brule.

She leaves behind to mourn her, her daughters Vicki Gagan, Lori Johnson, and Michele Kavanagh, her beautiful 12 grandchildren Aaron, Kyle, and Adam Gagan, Gilbert Brule, Sean Kavanagh-Lang, Brynn Kavanagh MacKinnon and Taylor Kavanagh, Amy Harding, Kelly Campbell, Robynn Viau, Jayme Edwards and Matthew Johnson as well as 16 great grandchildren. Her siblings Joan Celsie (Don), Warren Gallagher (Vickie), Marilyn Astley (Rick), Barry Gallagher (Barb) and many nieces and nephews.

Death hides - but it cannot divide- Thou are but on Christ's other side Thou with Christ and Christ with me And so together - still are we.

Mom had a dedicated career as an account clerk, was integral in the merging of 6 different accounting firms and well respected in her field.

She was very involved and proud of the many years of service with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 286 and Branch 31 in Toronto, Ontario.

She held many positions as President Vice President, Honorary Treasurer, Honorary Secretary, Executive Committee, Youth Education and Public Relations in the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday January 20, 2024 at 1pm to 3pm in the Kiwanis Manor 2555 Whiteley Court, North Vancouver in the Penthouse
