So he put his arms around you and whispered “Come with me”.

Cynthia Sue Buchanan of Dallas, Texas passed away June 3, 2017 at the age of 72 after a long battle with cancer/dementia. She was born in Wichita Kansas on December 12, 1944 to amazing parents, John David Buchanan and Katherine Jane Burt Buchanan. She was a long time employee of Whole Foods Market in Dallas, where she left behind many great co-workers and customers whom she always referred to as her friends. Cindy loved going to the casino and being with family and friends.

Loved ones who cleared the path for Cindy were her parents John D. Buchanan and Katherine Buchanan; sister Pamela McIlhany; daughter-in-law Kerry Kehoe; her infant son Christopher Reeves.

Loved ones that will miss Cindy until they meet again are her daughter Lisa Jett; son Scott Reeves; son-in-law Dwight Jett; Niece Debbie McIlhany; Nephew Kevin McIlhany; her three grandchildren, Blake Jett, Chelsi Jett and Regan Reeves and numerous friends.

Most people will remember Cindy for her smile, quick wit and love for others. But also the Strength she had during her long battle of over 8 year with stage 4 cancer, she never complained, never quit trying and always said “It’s all in your Attitude.”

Thank you to those who cared for her at Texas Oncology Medical City Dallas and toward the end with love and dignity her team at Holy Savior Hospice of Fort Worth and the loving sweet ladies of House F at Mustang Creek Estates in Keller.

Cindy’s children and grandchildren were her heart and joy. Until we see you again. We love and miss you Mom.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday June 15, 2017 from 6:30PM - 8:00PM at Whole Foods Market 11700 Preston Road #714 Dallas,TX. 75230 in there private dining area.
