Scott was born in Detroit, Michigan on May, 24th, 1958. He graduated from Palm Beach Gardens High School and continued on his education at the University of Florida where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering. Scott spent 41 years working with Marine Construction at Con-Tech. He enjoyed traveling and watching college football.
Scott is survived by his son’s Garrett and Stephen Groomes; and his brother Mark Groomes.
Scott is preceded in death by his loving wife of 31 years, Sandra Groomes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
A Celebration of Life for Scott will be held Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation, and Event Center, 754 Us Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408, with a service to begin at 12:00 PM.
