Russell O. Anderson

Russell Otto Anderson, 88, born in Ware, Massachusetts passed away on January 26, 2018. Russell and his family moved to Lake Worth, FL when he was six years old. He graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1947 and then joined the Air Force where he served with distinction in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL and became a CPA serving this area for 61 years. Russell recently retired from the firm of Anderson, Azeredo & Lioce in North Palm Beach.

He volunteered his time to various organizations and served as treasurer for Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County for many years. Russell enjoyed fishing with his sons and friends and was an avid tennis player. He loved to read, go to movies, travel and take cruises. Through the years his favorite times were spent meeting his sons for lunch or dinner and spending time with the family.

Russell was preceded in death by his son, Steve Anderson of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. He is survived by his son, Russell (Lisa) of Jupiter; his ex-wife and friend, Joan Anderson of Palm Beach Gardens; and sister, Faye Ambrosine of Lake City.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 754 US Hwy 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County.
