Dearest Ron – 

I don’t know where to begin. You are my teacher, my mentor, but most of all, my true friend. Who knew one could learn so much about music, singing, life, human nature, and love sitting beside a grand piano for hundreds of hours?

As I have said, when practicing with you, I always felt as though I was sitting at the foot of the Master. How ironic I would never realize to what extent until many years after our initial lessons together had come and gone.

The countless stories of struggle and success you shared with me only further substantiated what a giant amongst men you had become. From knowing what you wanted to do with your life from the time you were four, to be being chosen for the Mickey Mouse Club at five, to damaging your voice and having to spend eight months silent and alone on a desert island to allow it to repair, to spending seven years training with the Zweigs, the foremost Bel Canto teachers in Europe, sharing stages and lifelong friendships with Pavarotti and Joan Sutherland, becoming fluent in German so you could play the lead in German Opera, performing operas in seven languages outside of your native tongue, being amongst the top five Heldentenors in Europe for 15 years...to Frank Sinatra hearing you sing in Palm Springs, walking up and saying “Kid how do you get a sound like that!?” (before inviting you to his home for cocktails that evening), to keeping your word to your teachers and becoming not only a teacher but the leading vocal instructor and specialist in the world.

You are now and always will be a legend in vocal circles the world over, as well as hundreds of our hearts – the thankful, humble, and grateful hearts of your students that are beaming with pride because they had the chance to know and love the inimitable Ron Anderson. But most of all, you will always be a great man, a great friend, and one of the most special human beings I have ever had the opportunity to know.

The most magical human being I ever met. Grateful doesn’t begin to express my feelings for Ron. I always felt I was born to be a star, but Ron was the father to my voice. Only after Ron, could I walk alongside my heroes and hold my own. His beautiful soul placed a belief in myself that will guide me the rest of my days. Mr Ron will be loved and will be here in our memories forever, i have some unic memories whit Mr Ron, a great guy super fun to be whit, personally i will miss him, I'm not so good to write things, but all i can say is that i feel so lucky to share amazing and funny times whit Mr Ron and Pipe. Rest in Peace Mr Ron what a Legend, thank you for every laugh i learn so much from You Master I will remember you for that happy laugh you haved all the time. 

Oh Ron, you were truly a bright light beaming up to the stars. You were so kind to Helena, and she and I adored you for it. We were just having lunch with you and Pipe over Thanksgiving break. We cannot believe you are gone. We miss your relentless passion for great music, and the greatness you exude and demand from all. We will miss and cherish all of your incredible stories about coaching so many of the world’s greatest artists. 

When Pipe called me with the news that you were gone, I saw the planet go dimmer without your light shining so brightly. You spent your life making the world better with the beautiful gift of music. I know you were greeted by Chris at the pearly gates with your credentials for the greatest opera. 

Ron was my vocal teacher, my friend, my confident and  the family I did not have in LA .

An unsung hero has parted, as suddenly and unexpectedly as our meeting. 

I’m comforted re-living our most memorable moments, singing.  Perhaps the most personal and emotional activity I know.  

Warming hearts and voices eternally. 

I met Ron when I was 6 years old.  Most people don’t take children seriously, but Ron always showed me unconditional love and support.  He had decades of experience, having taught countless accomplished artists, many of whom I greatly admired.  Although I had none of their gold and platinum records, Ron treated me as no less, and because of that, I have become the person I am today.  He was a kind and gentle soul, the type that you can never forget.  I remember how you patiently taught me as one of your youngest students.  I remember your warm words of encouragement and your infectious laugh.  You’ve touched so many hearts and changed so many lives.  I promise to carry your memory in every melody I sing.  There are many voice teachers out there, but there will never be another Ron Anderson.  I miss you, Ron.  We all miss you.

I can honestly say Ron never gave me a single singing lesson.  ( He was a very good judge of talent.) We  first met him in 2004 when he and Pipe moved in next door to us in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. It wasn't long before we became good friends, sharing good times through the years. After Laurie and I moved to Colorado, Ron and Pipe visited us there and we visited them in California and Florida. We spent birthdays, holidays, concerts and hurricanes together. They both became like brothers to me. Ron was one of the finest men I have ever met and will always hold a special place in my memories and in my heart. RIP my friend.

Dearest Ron,

Coming to terms with your physical presence no longer being on this side is so difficult for me because I felt like so much of my life led me to you and you have been such a huge and incredibly special part of my life. 

You and Pipe changed my life so dramatically not only through lessons but further through friendship. I became so inspired by your personality, passion, and love for what you do. Words simply don’t do justice to how grateful I am for the presence of your sweet soul in my life. 

You were nothing short of an angel on this earth and a true joy to be around and work with. You had the kindest heart, the most wonderful smile, I loved when I made you laugh, (and when you liked the drinks I made you) :-)  I wish we had more time together. I always told Pipe you were a real-life cherub, so now I suppose you actually got your wings and I can’t truly say you’re gone because so much of you lives on in all of us.

 Pipe is right, you were born to nurture so many of us, and that you have absolutely done. I miss you dearly and your impact on my life will continue to live on through my singing and the students I teach. I love you, Ron, you were the best coach and the best encourager for a singer who didn't know if she had a voice anymore. thank you for everything you were to me. Rest in heavenly peace. ❤️🕊🎶

So I have a lot of pictures of Ron, but this one might be one of my Favorites❤️. He enjoyed life and the fruits it had to offer. And boy, did he love his steak and oysters. One of my favorite things to do was enjoying an amazing meal with Ron and Pipe. So glad to have had many of them with their company.  Many laughs, many stories, And the best of all, many hugs. He was truly one of the greatest humans I’ve ever known. He has touched my heart in a way unimaginable. He’s was the absolute best.  I am so fortunate to just even know him. Thank you for just being you Ron. That was truly the greatest gift of all.

Words cannot express what a wonderful kind and loving man Ron was!He was such  a power house of talent and beauty always humble ! I met him recently through friends and immediately loved him ! Ron was a wonderful human being, a good friend and an extraordinary teacher. I remember how he coached me and transformed me into a much better singer. He gave me the tools that I use until today to take my vocal performance to the next level. We already miss him but he will live in our hearts and in all our performances forever.

I have some amazing and very valuable memories with Ron. He showed me the proper way to sing and optimize the power of my voice.  He was a great teacher, and a wonderful human being. Everywhere we looked there was “Another” Rainbow - what a magical week! 

Who would have known that when the ENT sent me to Ron about 17 years ago, that not only would he save me from having to get surgery, but also become a dear friend with whom I would enjoy great dinners and hang sessions. He was always so inclusive and generous and would say the most unfiltered things that would crack me up! I, in turn would also be very unfiltered and he had a way of making everyone feel comfortable doing that. Miss you! Love you! 

We met Ron 17 years ago when he became our daughter Ari vocal coach.We had an immediate connection with Ron and Filipe .over the years we became like family ,creating many wonderful memories together.We love Ron very much.Always with a smile on his face ,enjoying to joke around and having a good time ,Ron  was sensitive ,caring ,supporting   and what a talent..He added so much color to our world.Bringing such happiness with music.Ron is no longer with us physically but his memories will be in our hearts forever.Rest in peace dearest friend.We love you .

In the short time I was privileged to know Ron I came to see a man who lived a life. Of purpose passion and love. To get a glimpse of Ron was seeing a little under the curtain of heaven. May love continue to surround and embrace Ron always 

I have no words! Still! You were a light in the world and today it’s just dim. I will forever keep you in my heart, soul and will bring the memories with me throughout eternity! There are so many memorable memories - our fabulous dinner parties, birthday celebrations,  Halloween parties,  the Hawaii trip , musical concerts … I could go on and on … Ron was family, he and Pipe were a huge part of my life - their friendship is forever - Ron I will miss you and never forget how you’ve touched my life!

What I remember the most about Ron is that he used to be so playful and happy. 
I only heard him sing live once, one night casually he sang a little bit of one of his favorite operas, and for me, that was impressive, how strong and profound a human voice can become, that is something I will never forget.
I hope he is in a better place, watching over us with that happy smile he used to have.

Ron taught me how to use my voice properly, but he also taught me to look forward to aging like a fine wine. He was filled with compassion, joy, patience, gentleness, and an admirable work ethic. I can’t thank him enough for passing some of his wisdom down to me both intentionally and unintentionally. I will thank him continuously throughout my life every time I sing. 

My dearest Ron, you were  born with that essence of a soul meant to nurture the rest of us with the best of qualities. The kindest man, always ready for servicing others and a candid smile that made us all feel comfortable in your presence and  meant for greatness. The world doesn’t even realize the power of your life. They say only the ephemeral is of lasting value, you were that one and the sun to all the stars. Keep on shining from above. You’re now a SUPERSTAR. You will be deeply missed and loved forever! Pipe

So sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. He helped many students develop their talents and coached hundreds of professionals. Highly respected and loved by so many, his legacy will live on!
