Patricia “Pat” Roche, 94 years young of West Palm Beach passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2024, surrounded by her children. Originally from Davenport, Iowa, she was a resident of Palm Beach County since 1970. Pat and her husband, Jack, were founding members of St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church and she was a parishioner of St. Clare Catholic Church for the last 25 years.
After attending Barry College, now Barry University in Miami, Pat moved to Chicago to begin her fashion career. She was there briefly until she met her husband, Jack. Her first date with him was at Davenport Country Club for a round of golf, which was the beginning of their courtship, followed by 57 years of a beautiful marriage. They went on to live around the world as Jack honorably served our country in the United States Air Force for 30 years.
Pat was a fashion icon and entrepreneur. Combining business acumen with an eye for fashion, she cofounded Via Condotti, a private label ladies’ boutique with locations in Palm Beach, Manalapan, North Palm Beach, and Palm Beach Gardens. She enjoyed designing, manufacturing, buying and staying ahead of the trending styles.
Pat was an avid gardener, golfer, swimmer, card player, and fitness enthusiast well into her nineties. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, but most of all she was a friend to everyone.
Pat is survived by her 5 children, John R. Roche, Jr. (Melody), of New Smyrna, FL, Michael J. Roche, of Jupiter, FL, Kathleen Reilly (Bill), of Lutz, FL, Patricia Mayne (Steve), of Montgomery, TX, and Carrie Hullihan (Tim), of North Palm Beach, FL; 10 grandchildren John R.
