Born in Highspire, Pennsylvania in 1934 to parents Paul and Cora Zeller, she was the youngest of three children. Helen attended Highspire High School and Hood College, where she majored in Home Economics. In 1954, she married her high school sweetheart, Jack Palmer. They lived throughout the eastern and southern U.S. before settling in Florida with their four children in 1970.
In addition to spending time with her family, Helen enjoyed boating, traveling, Bible Study, miniatures and mahjong. She will be remembered for her kind and patient spirit and as a supportive and welcoming friend to many.
Helen is survived by daughter Lynn (Dave) Brady, son Dan Palmer, daughter Kim (Larry) Stevens, and daughter Cindy (Stacy) Hallman; grandchildren Jessica (Craig) Lawrence, James (Jessica) Burke, Justin (Laurel) Stevens, Makenzie Stevens, Nick Hallman, and Hannah Hallman; and great-grandchildren Nate, Alan and Ben.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Richard Zeller and sister Kathleen Welborn.
Due to COVID-19, the family will be holding a private service.
