Yoldy Pierre Michel

On May 16, 1958, Yoldy Pierre was born in Gonaives, Haiti to Saintanise Chery and Maximon Pierre. As the oldest of five, she became a seamstress at a young age to help support her family. A smart and ambitious young woman, she also began traveling abroad as a merchant in 1981. After frequent visits, she finally received the opportunity to make the United States her home in 1986. However, she remained close to her family back home. She worked hard to provide continual support to her family.

A new phase of life began August 27, 1988 when she became a wife. She welcomed Yolandy in 1992 and Sadrak (Bobby) in 1994. She became a U.S. Citizen in 2000 and worked so hard while raising her family. Though she went through many challenging times, she loved the Lord with all her heart, mind and soul. She raised her kids in the admonition of the Lord, leading them in prayer every night and teaching them scripture. She was a faithful member of Independent Church of God in Miami, FL for over 30 years. She served the Lord faithfully and was a light to all who knew her. Our beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024 of heart failure. She was steady, her prayers unceasing and her kindness overflowing. Those who love and cherish her will miss her tremendously. We are at peace knowing that she is resting with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her children: Yolandy Michel, Sadrak (Bobby) Michel, Olguine Merzius (adopted), her sister Martine Adrien and her husband Ceus, her brothers Ramses and Bajo Pauleus, her nieces Cindy, Sabrina, Cassandra, Ramseska, Wilkensuze, Wideline, Daphnicar and Wisline, her nephews Junior, Wislin, Daniel, Rosny, Steven and Albertini, her cousins Josette Gaussin, Chimene Devilme, Founette Chery, Miriam, Carlo and Kenny Francois, her godchildren Berline Jusma-Clarke, Wideline Jusma-Lubin, Patricia Jeanty, and all her close friends who love her.

Li mouri le 29 Me, 2024, li te soufri maladi kadyak. Nou pwal manke li anpil, men nou konnen nanm li ap repoze anpè ak Jesus Kris.
