Simon Suied, 93, of Sunny Isle Beach, FL, died in his home of natural causes.
He was born in Tunisia in 1931 to Albert and Sarah Suied, a very close loving family including three brothers, Raymond, François and Roger and two sisters, Jeannette and Armande. He is survived by his wife, Sylvie, his 3 children, Kenneth, Jennifer and husband Howie, Matthew and wife Robyn, his grandchildren, Dylan, Jessica, Julia, Jake and Max, and his nieces and nephews.
He lived in Israel and fought in the Israeli army before moving to the states. It was love at first sight when he met Sylvie in New York City at a dance club. They couldn’t wait to start a family of their own and their children meant the world to them. They raised their children in Rockland County, NY and owned a family run luncheonette in town that was frequented by many.
Simon’s favorite role was that of a grandparent. He treasured his time with Dylan, Jessice, Julia, Jake and Max.
Everyone who knew Simon knew how much he loved to cook delicious meals for his family and friends, and the meals were always mouthwatering.
We couldn’t have asked for a better parent, grandparent, sibling, uncle and cousin. We will miss Simon every day. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.

Psalm 23
The Lord is my Shepherd;
I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down
in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul;
He leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me;
Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me;
Thou preparest a table before me in
the presence of mine enemies;
Thou anointest my head with oil,
Surely goodness and mercy shall
follow me all the days of my life;
and I will dwell in the house of the
Lord forever.
