Dvora Cobbs

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dvora "Deve" Cobbs, a remarkable individual whose vibrant spirit and numerous accomplishments have left an indelible mark on the lives of those who knew her. Deve was born on January 4, 1927, in Brooklyn, New York, and peacefully departed in Stuart, Fl on August 6, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Deve's life was a testament to resilience, determination, and unwavering love for her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, James Hana Cobbs, whose memory she cherished. She is survived by her children: Jodye Cobbs Friedman (Jonathan Friedman), Tony Cobbs (partner Gail Polevi), and Randye Cobbs Dlott (Alvin). Her legacy continues to thrive through her grandchildren: Joshua, Jesse, Jaclyne, and Lucy, and her six great-grandchildren: Isabelle, Noah, Addison, Juliet, Jackson, and Penelope.

A trailblazer in her professional life, Deve achieved remarkable success as a real estate broker with the Keyes Company in Miami Beach. Her dedication and passion for her work were evident to all who interacted with her. Even into her eighties, she remained an inspiration for her colleagues and peers, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and professionalism.

Deve's vibrant personality extended beyond her professional life. She was an avid Miami sports fan and travel buff - embarking on travels around the globe.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 12pm at Woodlawn Cemetery
