Rosie L. Richards

Rosie L. Richards, 76, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on December 13, 2024. Rosie was born June 19, 1948, in Jefferson County Arkansas and the daughter of the late Frank Burton Sr. and Willie B. “Susie” Burton. Rosie was united in marriage on June 28, 1986, to Michael Richards, and they had one son Myron D. Richards Sr.

Rosie was loving, caring, and hard working in all things. She was a Sterile Processing Specialist at the Veteran’s hospital in Little Rock, AR. Rosie loved to cook, shop and decorate. She took pride in decorating and changing the appearance of her home and watching her favorite tv shows. She loved spending time with her family and friends talking and shopping and most of all watching videos and looking at pictures of her grandchildren, family and friends.

Rosie leaves to cherish her memories: Husband, Michael Richards, three sons: Reginald Burton, Donald Wade, and Myron Richards Sr. (LaNetta). One sister-in-law, Jenifer Johnson, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Burton Sr., and Willie B. “Susie” Burton, one brother Clemmie Burton, four sisters, Velma Golatt, Bernice Walker, Bettye Burton-Moreland, and Lula B. Ricks.
