ROBERT MARION TRAYLOR, III, age 69, of North Little Rock, died peacefully March 24, 2020 at home surrounded by family after a short battle with rare, but aggressive Merkel cell skin cancer. Robin was born March 6, 1951, the oldest of seven children, to Robert Marion Traylor, Jr. and Rita Mae Hogue Traylor (July 22, 1928 to November 20, 2012). He treasured lifetime friendships with classmates from NLR High School (1967–1970), University of Central Arkansas (B.S. History, 1971-1974), and University of Arkansas, School of Law (1975-1976). For more than 50 years, he worked projects too numerous to mention, for family and others, but which included daily care for his parents over the last decade or so. He was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church. He is survived by his father; sons Robert Marion Traylor, IV and John McDaniel Traylor, who with wife Cortney, gave him grandchildren Keegyn, Tate, and Elijah; and their mother Kathleen Ann McDaniel; siblings and their spouses Elizabeth Fawcett (Bunn), Teresa Boykin (Lance), Daniel (Mary), Laura Davidson (Richard), Michelle Ketzscher (Charles, II), and David (Courtney) and their collective 20 children and grandchildren; and rescue dogs Pork Chop and Zach.
