He was born December 25, 1935 in Step Rock, AR to Claud Sarrels and LuDena Ellis. Glen worked on Big Rigs as a mechanic as well as trucks and cars. He joined the United States Air Force and became a secret communicator. He enjoyed tinkering with cars, helping friends and neighbors with handyman services as well as anything electrical. Later in life he loved watching birds and just enjoying nature. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Samantha Sarrels; one son, Terry Sarrels; a sister, Jewel Sarrels; and a grandchild, Jamie Jackson.
Survivors include, two sons, Mark and Glendale Sarrels; two daughters, Marjorie and Anna Jackson; five grandchildren, Jackie Jackson III, Crystal Jackson, Amber Sarrels, Damon Jackson, and Hunter Jackson; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Treva Warden and Arlene Sarrels.
Graveside Services are Saturday, May 11th at 1:00 PM at Forest Hills Cemetery, Alexander, AR.
