David L. Cowsert, age 68, of North Little Rock, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023. He was born March 18, 1954 to Jimmy and Anna Rose Cowsert in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is survived by his sister, Linda (Dale) Wamsley; nephew, Mitch (Ronie) Wamsley; niece, Aileen Wamsley; grandniece and nephews; his lifelong friend, Robert and a host of friends and family.
While growing up in North Little Rock, David loved playing music with his clarinet and banjo, but his favorite was the guitar. Over the years, he played in several local bands and even taught lessons. David became a projectionist for United Artist while in college at UALR. After graduating, he became a medical technologist at Children's Hospital, where he stayed for 35 years. David also sold real estate and owned a low power TV station named KJLR that he established with his Father.
Visitation will be at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 beginning at 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
