Arthur Lee “Duck” Johnson, 72, of North Little Rock passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 in Little Rock. Arthur was born on March 30, 1946 in Scotts, Arkansas; the son of Roosevelt and Alberta Johnson. He married the love of his life Bettie (Lewis) Johnson on January 31, 1967, and they enjoyed 51 years of marriage. Arthur worked as a supervisor with Arkansas Electric until his retirement; he then began helping his wife with her cleaning business. He is a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, and a 33rd degree Mason.
Arthur leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Bettie, his brothers Columbus and Theodus Johnson, a sister Irma Washington, several nieces and nephews; and is deeply missed by his beloved dog Sheba. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert and Louis Johnson, and a sister Dorothy Smith.
Visitation will be held at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 850 Atkinson Rhodes Street, North Little Rock on Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 11:00am to 1:00pm, with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Rest Hills Memorial Park, North Little Rock.
