Kenneth Albert Chin

Kenneth Chin, known as “Chinaman” to family and friends was born April 29, 1939 to Mina Daley and Sydney Melvin Chin. Raised by his paternal grandmother Aunt Mar-Marie Ogborne (deceased) of Jamaica and Uncle Vincent Rattigan (deceased) of the Bronx, New York. Chin came to the U.S. In 1963 from St. Catherine, Jamaica. Enrolled in A.I. Prince Technical Trade School of Hartford, Connecticut taking a course in Masonry. Soon after “Chinaman”married his high school sweetheart Evelyn Rose Chin. Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth A.Chin maintained solid beautiful loving 50 years of marriage. Kenneth is resting in the grace of heaven as he is survived by his wife Evelyn R. Chin, of Tamarac, FL (formerly of Hartford, CT), loved Son Nikita Chin of St. Catherine, Jamaica, two beautiful daughters Michele Victoria Chin of Tamarac, FL and Melanie Vonceil Chin of Selbyville, DE and his cherished grandchildren Jamal Anthony Forrester-Chin of Tamarac, FL, Jasmin M. Walker of Tamarac, FL, DeBorah B. Allen of Selbyville, DE, Kenyatta J M Duncan of Tamarac, FL, Naqwan G. Mclean of Orlando, FL, NikiChung Samantha Chin of St. Catherine, Jamaica, Nikita Ricardo Chin of Kingston, Jamaica, Nijah D M Hall of Tamarac, FL and Nijah D M Hall of Tamarac, FL. Special Uncle Vincent Rattigan (deceased) of Bronx, NY, Sisters; Glendene Angella Chin Bitter married to John Bitter of Sunrise, FL, Marva Halsall married to Desmond Halsall of Armor Height Kingston, Jamaica, Brothers; Basil Chin (deceased) of Jamaica, Keith Brown of Toronto, Canada, Xavier Chin of Jamaica, Nieces; Fiona “Itsy” Mowatt of Coral Springs, FL, Tara and Tamika Mitchner of Hartford, Connecticut, Karen Irene Smith (deceased) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Sabrina Y Machado Chin of Sunrise, FL, Arnella Chin and Alexisse Chin of Jamaica.
