Beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt, Barbara Silvers Weiner, 93 and eleven twelfths of Sunrise, Florida, passed away in Sunrise on August 30, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gussie and Arthur Silvers, sister, Diane Simkin, and husband, Barney Weiner. She is survived by her children, Jerry Weiner and Lauren Simon, grandchildren, Robin Weiner-Linder, Benjamin Weiner, and Zachary Simon, great grandchildren, Hannah, Zoe, Rumi, and Kota, and nephew and niece, Billy Simkin and Susan Rosen. Before retiring to Florida, she lived in Brooklyn, New York, worked in Abraham & Straus for many years, and enjoyed baking her yummy oatmeal cookies and delicious marble cake. Her clear blue eyes, and friendly beautiful smile will be sorely missed.
