She was born in Mount Vernon, NY on June 16, 1921 to Joseph and Ethel (Kilpatrick) Nanry, the second of nine children. Marguerite was a 1939 graduate of St Gabriel High School in New Rochelle, NY, and a 1943 graduate of Mount Vernon Hospital Nurses training program. In 1944 she enlisted in the US Army Air Force during WW II serving in the Army Nurse Corps primarily at the Station Hospital in Coffeeville Kansas. She was discharged in 1946 with the rank of 1st Lieutenant
Marguerite move to California in 1948, where she met and married her husband, Dennis in 1957. She spent her career working in the nursing field specializing in critical care at Glendale Adventist Hospital. In her free time she enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading and listening to classical music and opera.
She is survived by two daughters, three grandchildren, and one great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dennis, and seven of her siblings.
